I visited this spa with a friend and chose a package that included twig/leaf whacking, herbal tea, a salt and honey scrub, mud face pack and massage. We were there for 3 hours and found the whole experience invigorating! It’s a lovely cosy place, below street level. The staff were friendly and don’t waste time with small talk and fake smiles, they have a job to do which is to perform treatments and rituals! We felt like we were looked after and enjoyed being directed around the place and told where to go and what to do. Each treatment had a surprise to it which often made us laugh as well as feel good afterwards. The parenie was one of the strangest things I’ve ever had done and as I laid my head down on top of some wet leaves I couldn’t help but internally giggle. Another bunch of wet leaves was then placed on top of my head covering my face and at that point I really was laughing. This massage was actually quite hard going as it’s done in the sauna which is boiling hot. It took a lot of concentration and focus to stay in the room and on a couple of occasions I thought I was actually being cooked alive. The bucket of cold water which was poured over me afterwards was very much welcomed. After leaving the spa our skin felt amazingly soft, the salt and honey scrub felt a bit brutal at the time but definitely did the job. We loved how authentic and different this spa was and how much it made us smile!
