Banya No. 1 is a magical experience. I have never felt more alive than after I got out of the cold plunge after Parenie. The spa area is very nice and it is great to hang out in the lounge area with food and drinks between treatments. We loved the aromatherapy in the sauna as well. It was like nothing we’d ever experienced before.

Wonderful experience – the sauna is beautifully hot and aromatic; the parenie is both invigorating and relaxing – and taking the plunge in the icy pool or under the bucket gives you a profound adrenaline rush.

The banya was wonderful – I really loved the large cold pool and the delicious authentic menu. The treatment was excellent and I felt so invigorated and relaxed at the same time. The sea buckthorn tea was especially refreshing and tasty, along with borscht and salo.

That was my first and the best experience of Russian baths in London. I did enjoy my visit to Banya #1 from the moment when I entered the doors – the service was excellent and the whole atmosphere was so relaxing. I will definitely come again.
