I booked a three hour slot with Parenie after spotting a recommendation in a newspaper, and having loved bathing experiences in Turkey, Japan and other places. What an amazing place to find in the middle of London. Plenty of Russian clientele mixed with a few groups of British blokes meant it felt (to me at least) like the real deal. The sauna was fantastic, but the parenie was just amazing. It’s pretty difficult to describe how being slapped with leafy branches feels good but it does and the guys carrying it out guided me as a newcomer. Can’t wait to go back. Would be great with mates, if they’re up for that sort of thing as the relaxing area is convivial, but I found three hours solo flew by.
