Definitely different from your usual spa. This one made me feel wonderful, energised, like a new woman. It is a completely Russian experience, including Russian food and drinks. Parenie has to be experienced. The feeling afterwards is amazing. One is beaten with oak branches, in a sauna type room, and then immersed first, in cold buckets of water (17 degrees celsius) then a plunge pool. (7 degrees celsius) I also had a coffee scrub and body wash. My skin was so clean it squeaked! Svetlana was wonderful administering the coffee scrub. I had a one hour massage but it was shortened by the therapist to 50 minutes. Not a good idea. I just wish I had had Svetlana for my massage as well. My friend did and had the full time and she was voted 5 star, this by a qualified masseuse with her own practice. I will definitely return, requesting Svetlana! Men doing the Parenie also first rate, sorry guys, don’t know your names!
