Banya No. 1 in Hoxton is by far the best treatment centre I’ve been to in London. The Parenie is a particularly special experience. Who knew being gently whipped with leaves in a sauna could be so heavenly? I purchased the Platinum Package on my first visit to Banya No. 1. This package includes a body mask, body scrub, face mask, foot soak, massage and parenie as well as unlimited trips to the sauna and plunge pool during your three hour visit. When you’re not in the treatment rooms or sauna you sit in the dining/relaxing area where you’re able to order traditional food and drinks – even vodka!

If you feel like you need a reset or a holiday but aren’t able to get away – Banya No. 1 is an excellent and far less expensive alternative. I cannot recommend it enough. *****
